Ephesians 3:14-21 is a beautiful prayer written in a letter by Paul the Apostle to the Christians of Ephesus. Paul is down on his knees asking God to bless them with spiritual power, love, and knowledge. He writes this:
“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
This can be prayed over any Christian, so I am going to pray it over whoever is reading this. It is my prayer that all Christians will experience the spiritual growth of this incredible magnitude through the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit:
May God empower you with His inner spiritual strength, so that Jesus Christ may dwell in your heart as you trust in Him. May you have a sound knowledge of how significantly deep Christ’s love is for you. And while you are not meant to fully understand His love, may you feel it on every level. May the power of Christ continuously fill your life and complete you. All the glory to God who can do so much more inside of you than you could ever ask for or even imagine. All the glory to Him forever. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
God bless you all.
